Curriculum :

We offer an all round integrated learning programme for children. Children learn to think, create, observe, solve problems, ask questions, find answers and share results throughout the learning experience. Through the process, children also practise communication skills and learn to appreciate others. It helps them to cultivate confidence and a sense of responsibility, to prepare them for their future and lay a solid learning foundation for them.

Self-directed learning – an integrated learning concept that incorporates children’s interests in order to develop the six learning domains. The spiral curriculum and learning activities enhance interaction between children, adults and the environment. Through multiple learning games and activities, they can nurture a positive attitude towards exploration, thinking and asking questions, as well as the skills of learning and construction of knowledge. 

Languages to achieve bilingualism and trilingualism, students will learn and apply the everyday language in a real and natural language-rich environment.

  • English – all skills are covered through daily lessons that include our Letterland Phonics Programme, London College of Music (LCM) and Cambridge Young Learners Starters Test to develop a high standard of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

  • Putonghua – incorporates Hànyǔ Pīnyīn from the People’s Republic of China, in order to develop good listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

  • Writing skills – Through “My Dictionary”, “My Picture Book” and “Imaginative Chinese/English Story Worksheet”, the interest in learning languages is raised and students also practise their reading skills.

  • A structured reading scheme introduces a reading culture to students and better enhances the acquisition of their reading skills. This includes the parent-child home reading scheme, teacher-student reading scheme and student-student reading scheme.

  • The moral education programme introduces a variety of life-enriching activities inside and outside of school which aim to develop our students into well-rounded global citizens that are caring, responsible and respectful.

  • The Primary One bridging programme – The K3 curriculum includes lesson that simulate those held in the primary school. Primary school and kindergarten teachers will also hold regular curriculum meetings to help ensure the children are prepared for their future primary school life.
